1. Travel to Brussels in summer
During this time, the average temperature is 20 degrees, the sun is shining and the heat is not excessive. Mind you, that doesn’t mean we can’t have a rainy week.
The good thing is that the days are also longer, so you can enjoy more hours of light to visit the monuments that populate the streets of Brussels. In addition, at night you can enjoy a walk through the historic center with the most pleasant temperatures.
During the summer many events are organized and celebrated. For example, between July 5 and 7, the Ommegang is celebrated. It is a historical reconstruction that commemorates the arrival of Carlos V to the city to present his son, Felipe II. Equestrian jousts, medieval markets and, of course, beer tastings are organized.
Another important event is the Flowertime. It takes place on the Grand Place in Brussels between August 12 and 15. In it, a carpet of flowers is created, about 75 meters long and 24 meters wide. 2. Visit Brussels at Christmas

It is true that at any other time of winter the prices will be lower and you will be able to get rid of the big crowds of summer. But Christmas is a beautiful time when Brussels, like other cities, is adorned with light and color.
During these dates, the city increases its offer of leisure and activities for children. The highlights are the ice skating rinks and the Christmas markets where typical sweets, toys and special treasures of the city are sold.
