Huangshan, the origin of the Yellow Mountain

The Yellow Mountain is located in the province of Anhui, east of China. The mountain, named Huangshan, literally means ‘yellow mountain’ in Chinese ( Huang is ‘yellow’ and shan , ‘mountain’.

As for the second route, which also begins at the South station, it will take us to the Cresta del Ganso Blanco. If we choose not to take the cable car, we can photograph a curious rock called Immortal, in addition to seeing the area of ​​mountain hotels and going through other trails less frequented by tourists.

The best way to get to Yellow Mountain is to travel from Huangshan city itself. Here we can take a public bus that will leave us in the Yellow Mountain area in just over an hour and a half of travel.

We recommend wearing comfortable shoes that are adapted to the weather conditions of the date chosen for the visit. It is important to remember that this area has its peak season during winter, so going prepared with snow clothes will help us to enjoy the chosen route without problems.

As for the level of difficulty of the area for its ascent, it is not too demanding. In addition, it has several cable cars and a fleet of buses to save time and effort. The price of this type of transport is around 12 euros per person.

If we choose to walk up, we will find more than 60,000 steps and several paved paths that will take us on a simple route to the different points of interest.
