To start the route we will do it from Cantabria. You can get there by car or plane and rent a car. That will depend on the time you have available, your pocket and your circumstances. We will start in Santander.

Santander is a natural place full of cliffs and where the Cabo Mayor lighthouse gives it a unique marine touch. Its fine sand beaches are considered one of the most beautiful in the country. For this reason, and for many more reasons, Santander is a must on this route by car through Asturias, Cantabria and Galicia.

Very close to this city is Peña de Cabarga, a rock massif from where you can enjoy the best views of the region.

Pasiegos valleys and Cabárceno park

If what you are looking for in Cantabria are those green landscapes that seem taken from a story, this is the place you are looking for.  In Cabárceno, in addition to the landscape, you will be able to see various animals that live in semi-freedom. Valleys don’t need words to describe them, when you get there you will understand why.
