1. Mezzano

When we think of Italy, cities like Rome, Venice or Florence always come to mind. Well, this small town of about 1600 inhabitants is located in a privileged position in the eastern Alps.

Both its architecture, which reminds us of medieval tales, together with the setting that surrounds it, have made it one of the most beautiful European corners.

2. Pelion

And what do you think if we talk to you about Greece? Surely in Athens, Santorini or Mykonos. In a small bay is Volos. It is one of the largest commercial ports in Greece, but around there are dozens of small towns that dot the lush nature of forests and heart-stopping coves that surround the city.

It was in this place where it is believed that the wedding between Peleus and Thetis took place, and where they argued with the apple in between, Hera, Aphrodite and Athena to know which of the three was the most beautiful.

3. Killarney

Ireland is already unmatched in beauty, but this city earns the honor of being the Best Maintained City in the country. At the foot of huge mountains and on the shores of Lake Lein, lies Killarney, noted for its famous St. Mary’s Cathedral and Ross Castle.

4. Salfeinssee

Austria boasts some of the most beautiful cities in the world, not to mention its wonderful natural landscapes. This is a beautiful lake that is located in the Tyrol region. It is by no means the best known in the area, but together with the landscape in which it is located it creates a postcard image.

The reflection of the mountains and the green grass that covers it over its waters, is one of the images most sought after by photography professionals and tourists in general. A place, without a doubt, with a special charm.

5. Søndernho

This is a small Danish town of 300 inhabitants that has existed since the 16th century and still keeps the essence of the Middle Ages. Its houses with thatched roofs, small gardens and located in narrow and cobbled streets create a bucolic setting, perfect to rest from the stress of the city.

6. Regensburg

In German Bavaria you can find this small city whose historic center is a World Heritage Site and which has more than 1,500 protected buildings. With more than two thousand years of history and medieval appearance, the image of the town on the other bank of the Danube will be indelible from your mind.

You see that countries as well known as Germany, can surprise us with charming corners beyond their well-known cities like Berlin.

7. Villers-la-Ville

Belgium is one of the countries chosen by thousands of tourists every year, and although it has surprising cities and charming corners, few manage to beat the abbey of Villiers which is in ruins and has been adorned by time with a beautiful green and leafy mantle.

It was the scene of the famous novel Les Miserables  for its impressive beauty and the perfection of its arches and vaults. To this day, its interior is still used for the Nuit des Choeurs , a show in which choirs from all over the world perform.

8. Rügen Island

With its 60 kilometers of beaches, it is the largest island in Germany, off the Pomeranian coast of the Baltic Sea. It is characterized by its fine sand and its luxury spas with a retro and vintage touch and its centenary railway that keeps the essence of ancient Germany, the one we knew from the stories of Hansel and Gretel.

9. Zaboric

If you want to see a paradisiacal place without leaving Europe, do not miss this, one of the most wonderful European corners that you will ever visit. It is located 10 kilometers from Sibenik, in Croatia, and is famous for its small beaches and crystal clear waters. The perfect place to disconnect.
