Impossible to start any other way. It is the most typical, beautiful and bucolic picture of Tuscany. It is what the traveler finds on the road that connects Siena and San Quirico. The Orcia Valley is a true wonder of rolling hills, vineyards and rows of cypress trees. Pure magic.

Perhaps you have seen the movie Under the Tuscan Sun , or at least you have heard of it. Well, this is the town that inspired the story, even though it wasn’t entirely shot here. 10. The city of Bocaccio

A little known town, although it was the birthplace of one of the greats of literature, Giovanni Boccaccio, author of El Decamerón . Certalde is one of the best preserved medieval villages in Italy. Going to the top in the funicular is also an experience.
