Sesimbra

We are going to another beach destination in the south of Lisbon. It is one of the favorite places of the Portuguese for their summer vacations, as well as of some tourists who know it.

Evora

Our next stop on the map of Portugal is in the Alentejo and it is famous for its Roman temple in very good condition. There are many monuments in this city, so you will come across a historical place where they exist; Among them, the Chapel of Bones will make your hair stand on end.

This was where Portugal was born, the place where the first king of the country settled and, therefore, its first capital. Its castle is one of its main attractions;  You should not miss the Palace of the Dukes of Braganza, a beautiful building built in the 15th century.

Vila Nova de Milfontes

This town is located in a coastal area of ​​the map of Portugal completely virgin, but at the same time amazing. A place chosen by the Portuguese themselves as a summer destination, while the rest of the year it becomes a haven of peace for those looking for a place to relax and get rid of the stress of the whole year.

Sintra

From the coast, we head towards the pine-filled hills of the Serra de Sintra.  It has a cool climate, which was the reason why the nobility wanted to settle here. Opulent palaces and mansions were built on its grounds.

In Sintra there is much to see. You shouldn’t miss the unique and colorful Palacio da Pena,  but you shouldn’t miss the Castelo dos Mouros, the Quinta da Regaleira or the National Palace either.
